Responsibilities

Merchandise Planning

• Analyze consumer buying patterns and predict future trends based on e-commerce sales big data
• Negotiate on supply price to get a competitive price
• Write reports and forecast sales levels on a weekly and monthly basis for owning categories
• Sourcing targeted assortment from existing and new suppliers
• Review performance indicators (e.g. sales, discount levels, traffic, and conversion rate)

Pricing and sales management

• Participate in promotional activities and work with the traffic team to develop sales for merchandise
• Manage product pricing
• Own product P&L, responsible for margin

Inventory Management

• Manage timely entry and maintenance of purchase orders and final orders
• Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders
• Ensure availability and order of stocks proportionate to merchandise movements.

Vendor Management

• Meet suppliers and negotiate terms of contract
• Contact suppliers in order or schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve issues
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products

Job Requirements

• Familiar with industry costs and strong demonstrated experience in price negotiations
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Working experience in sourcing/purchasing/retail in related categories
• Strong sales analysis and forecasting capabilities
• Have suppliers network in relevant categories
• Strong experience in sales & and stock management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
