Branch Head - Semarang

As part of our effort to continue providing service excellence, and to implement our initiatives to meet customer needs, and develop new capabilities, Iron Bird Logistic as a member of Bluebird Group is looking for Brach Head - Semarang.

Branch Head’s main goal is to increase the sales/business development and improve the customer service function of the branch. This position is responsible for the growth of local sales for the branch and also oversee all team members and be responsible for day to day operational activities at the branch location.

KEY TASKS:

• Review, report, and provide weekly and monthly performance.
• Creating new business through contact with prospective customers in the assigned market
• Identifying market trends and competitive rate actions and communicating those trends to management.
• Ensuring smooth operational process in accordance to company procedures and service levels.
• Identifying the competitive service strengths and weaknesses of the company and making recommendations to constantly improve
• Managing end to end functions in the branch organization in order to maintain standard procedure and services.
• Responsible for all sales and business development duties including calling on accounts to increase revenue and profit.
• Build and maintain relationship with all stakeholders, mainly customers, vendors, and regulators.
• Responsible for managing and growing local sales, deep selling current local customer base, and selling logistics solutions to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Team player with ability to work with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
• 7+ years of management experience required in a sales/customer service role, preferably in Freight Forwarding, 3PL, or Trucking Services
• University Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience highly preferred
• Excellent customer service and execution skills
• Experience in industry with sales and business development required, with ocean and air freight sales experience highly preferred
• Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Good leadership to manage and boost team’s performance
• Proactive approach to solving problems
