Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our organization as an Assistant Industrial Relations Manager. In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of employee relations, labor laws compliance, and maintaining a positive work environment. You will play a key role in promoting effective communication, handling grievances, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in conducting investigations and providing guidance on employee complaints or disputes.
  • Collaborate with HR team to ensure proper implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to employee relations and labor laws compliance.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and data analysis related to industrial relations activities.
  • Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on labor-related matters.
  • Stay abreast of emerging issues and trends in industrial relations and make recommendations for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in industrial relations, employee relations, or a similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
