Account System Engineer For Service Provider

The Team

Cisco seeks a Systems Architect to partner with our Account Manager in a Pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions - setting up demonstrations and explaining features and benefits to customers - and designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide technical and sales support for assigned account
• Gain access to the broad palette of Cisco technologies and applications in the Service Provider market
• Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
• Stay abreast of relevant competitive solutions, products, and services
• Direct account and partner responsibilities for assigned accounts
• Perform technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects

Qualifications

The candidate must have 12+ years-related experience, have cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis required. Pre-Sales experience required in Service Provider. Typically has BS/BA (Electrical Engineering/Computer Science) or equivalent from reputable University. CCIE certification is preferred.

Technical Skill Requirements:

• Having a firm base of knowledge and experience in Service Provider Routing/Switching, and Transport along with skillset in the areas of Automation and Orchestration
• Has product knowledge in advance technologies either for Cisco Product or Cisco Competitor products
• Capabilities in designing end to end large complex network to meet Service Providers requirements
• Preferably having platform and technology expertise in NSO (Tail-F), IOS-XR and Segment Routing
• Having experience in and a working knowledge of common open and proprietary operating systems as well as virtualization and containerization technology
• In-depth understanding about Service Provider Architecture such as IP NGN, Broadband Network, Mobility, and DWDM
• Possessing technical background and skills on design and implementation of complex network architectures, spanning traditional Datacenter, Transport, private and public cloud
• Having advanced knowledge of 3G/4G/5G mobile network architecture
