Contribute to and drive the Footwear Sourcing Strategic Roadmap.

Oversee the execution of Indonesia sourcing partner factory strategies & capacity planning for all manufacturing tiers.

Oversee production methods and partner with the Lean/Industrial Engineering team to introduce improvement guidelines and metrics to enhance output and quality.

Build strong relationship with various levels of leadership in both Brooks and factories.

Facilitate change by influencing people and organizations without authority.

Excellent product sense, proven brand and business management skills, strong marketing skills, organization skills, general business acumen

Must have expert knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign traditional hands on design techniques

Minimum 3+ years experience in shoe design

Research design ideas, materials and fashion trends

Use computer aided design (CAD) and traditional hand-drawing techniques

Create your own original designs or adapt existing ones

-Bachelor’s or associate degree and work experience in footwear and accessories is preferred

-Deep knowledge of the fashion industry and market trends

-at least 1 year of experience in the same position.

-Comprehensive knowledge of shoe and bag building from the design sketch phase to manufacturing

-Has an excellent eye for aesthetic design and customer appeals

-Has the ability to visualize things in three dimensions

1 year of experience or less with strong portfolio

Create and develop design for fashion items (footwear, apparel, etc)

Implement existing graphic design to fashion items

Create product's prototype of fashion items

Up to date with fashion trends (fashion design, material, visual content, & market behavior)

Familiar with 2D software for prototyping fashion items

Analytical thinking and time management skills are important

Strategize and plan for innovation in shoe development, staying ahead of industry trends and competitor offerings.

Provide mentorship and guidance to Dev 1 & Dev 2, fostering their professional growth and skill development align with PCC Vision

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in shoe manufacturing.

Minimum 5 years of shoe manufacturing experience

Good written and spoken English communication skills are required

7+ years experience in a similar role within merchandising environment

Strong knowledge of technical fabrics, garment construction and related machinery.

Experience in working directly with vendors in Sri Lanka and ability to drive performance

Experience in pre-costing and calculation

Experience working on PLM and PO systems like Flex PLM and Tradestone

Manage development and production timeline to ensure samples and finished products are delivered ON TIME, ON SPECS, ON BUDGET.

Minimum 6 years relevant experience in Footwear industry.

Casual shoes experience is a must.

Solid knowledge of product development, commercialization and footwear production process.

Good technical knowledge of pattern/tooling.

Establish and oversee QA/QC standards to ensure all finished products comply with brand quality standards.

Strong project management skills especially in monitoring project timeline and progress, liaising with various vendors/ agencies.

Manage subordinate staffs in the day-to-day tasks.

Coordinate with the director, design team, production manager, and sales manager to ensure effective work.

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design/Art or related field with strong passion and skills in Art & Design.

Min. 2 years experience in managing and directing design team.

Excellent communication skills and passion for the fashion and footwear retail industry.

Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for degree

Manages and develops relations with T2 supply base to support localization, speed to market, meeting material pricing targets and materials quality

Comprehensive knowledge of shoe building from design sketch phase to ex-factory

Knowledge of footwear concepts in construction/development a necessity

Good numerical skills with the ability to negotiate

Skill in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

2. Maintaining accurate records of orders in both company central computer and departmental systems
