Junior Payroll Officer Jobs

Minimum bachelor’s degree in any major, preferably in Accounting, Management or Technical.

Having strong competencies in Remuneration Management, Office Administration, and Tax Regulation.

Minimum 3 years of experience in the same or related position in Marine Industry or other similar industries.

Good communication, strong analytical skills, and detail oriented.

Understanding SAP System is a plus.

Willing to be placed in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan.

Has excellent organizational and time management skills

Provide reports to Payroll Manager

1 -2 years experience in payroll consulting firm

Ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery of payroll services to clients

Developing and maintaining distinct relationships with peers at client organizations

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree on Economy, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Tax or equivalent

Having Brevet A & B, experience in handling PPH 21 is preferable

Calculate PPH 21 for employee salary

Doing all calculations related to employee salary

Track all personnel on the Payroll system to ensure they are paid correctly and on time

Must be Proficient in computer operation (Ms. Excel such as Hlookup, Vlookup, Pivot Table)

Manage benefit payment for employee

Bachelor Degree preferred Accounting, Business Administration Management

Manage payroll process until payment every month with no error (>3000 employees)

Experience 1-2 years for startup company or company with large number of employees

Responsible for administration and coordinate with related 3rd Parties

Detail Oriented and Ready to work under pressure

Processes company’s payroll every pay period

Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data

Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records

Handles changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles

Honors confidentiality of employees’ pay records

Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Bachelor's degree in management, HR, or a related field (preferred).

Collaborate with Client’s HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues.

Proven experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of payroll practices, employment tax laws, and regulations.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

Calculating employee benefits and deductions.

Responding to employee questions about compensation, taxes, benefits, and deductions.

Previous experience working as a payroll officer.

Advanced Mathematical skills and strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Collecting daily, weekly, and monthly employee timesheets.

Min. 1 year experience in the same field is required

Ensure all payroll transactions are executed correctly and timely manner

Prepare tax & BPJS reporting for related stakeholders

Update and maintain payroll historical records

Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major

Strong proficiency in excel formulas

Alert management of discovered noncompliance or data quality issues

The minimum of experience is 5 years in the payroll process.

Experience with payroll tax calculations and filings.

Advanced experience in Excel Formula.

Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.

Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.

Liaise with staff and management on payroll related queries

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum having 1 year of experience as Payroll Officer or similar position

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Able to meet tight reporting deadline and report to the Manager

Handle end-to-end processing of company payroll
