Minimum of 15 years industry experience, with at least 5 years experience in project management.

Demonstrable commitment to HSE Management in a project environment

Previous experience as a project manager on projects of up to US$1B in total value.

Relevant degree or equivalent qualification (Chartered Engineer preferable)

Liaise with the Project Manager and is the primary procurement interface between the Client, the project, and the supplier community.

Proven experience in supervising and mentoring others in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with conflicting priorities and limited time available.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Procurement within the resources, construction and infrastructure sectors

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Procurement Lead role

Establish and develop an effective communication plan between key stakeholders to ensure efficient change management as and when required.

Prior experience as an operational readiness lead / manager

Facilitate alignment of roles and responsibilities within the Operational Readiness team and other stakeholders to ensure effective operational ramp-up.

Manage a safe and healthy work environment where workers and contractors can deliver their outputs within a controlled risk environment.

Ensure environmental impact falls within and complies with statutory requirements.

Working knowledge of operational readiness processes

Manage and drive the control of scope and change through effective assumptions management ensuring consistency of understanding across project controls practitioners.

Provide support and analysis to project management teams in oversight and management of key contracts as pertaining to project controls commitments.

Interpret and report upon Earned Value Management metrics and other significant project KPIs that form Project Controls.

Any consultancy experience is advantageous but not essential

Development of secondary electrical designs of transmission and distribution substations up to voltages of 500 kV;

Work under the supervision of a Senior Secondary Engineer (local and/or international);

Work with junior staff to train and mentor them in preparing secondary designs;

Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously

Ensure they understand and apply the Worley Quality Management System

Demonstrable commitment to HSE Management in a project and construction environment

Sound understanding of construction activities and construction management
