Due to the continued growth and success of Immersive Technologies an opportunity exists for experienced Web Developers to join our dynamic, leading-edge team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your web development experience to create and maintain applications for our customers globally.

You will be required to have effective communication skills and a strong work ethic as well as demonstrating technical proficiency. This work requires extensive knowledge of developing and maintaining applications using Typescript and React.JS.

This role will initially be offered as a 2 year contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in an agile environment, liaising with a remote engineering team
• Migrate existing applications from legacy JavaScript frameworks to React.JS
• Meet up with the Australian team at our Jakarta (or possibly Perth) office for up to 1 week, every 3 months
• Provide support to other internal teams at our Australian HQ or regional offices
• Enhance and expand our suite of web applications using Typescript and React.JS
• Participate in the complete development life cycle, especially coding, testing and debugging

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years commercial development experience using TypeScript and React.JS
• Minimum education Bachelor's Degree in Computing or related field
• Experience building websites with Node.JS and Webpack or a similar bundler
• Full working rights in Indonesia
• Solid frontend development fundamentals including HTML, CSS and HTTP
• Good working knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript
• Experience using Git source control
• Excellent English literacy
• Good working knowledge of React.JS
• Ability to work in an agile team environment

• Familiarity with Scrum methodologies
