We’re seeking a highly-skilled Video Editor for one of our most exciting clients "The Passionate Few", is one of the largest business podcasts in the US which runs a YouTube channel that specializes in full-length interviews in the business and entrepreneurship space and interviews high-profile guests from around the world who excel in entrepreneurship.

The video editor would be to help our client to create engaging edits on interviews. This role requires an extremely high level of video editing skill. The intros are extremely engaging and require a lot of creativity, skill, and time.

Please, only apply if you’d rate your video editing skill at a 9/10 or higher. We will be conducting an in-depth assessment later on to test your skills. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating compelling videos that capture our client’s brand and message. The ideal candidate is talented, creative, and has a keen eye for detail. This is a remote, open to candidates anywhere in the world!

Responsibilities

• Work with our client’s creative team to develop video content that meets their brand and messaging goals.
• Ensure all projects are completed with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicating with the channel manager from production to the post-production process
• Deliver final videos in multiple formats and resolutions.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and budget.
• Review script outlines/slides to grasp video ideas, needs, and specifications
• Cutting dialogue, adding music, graphics, and effects, and making sure there is logical sequencing
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure our client’s videos stay ahead of the curve.
• Edit raw footage to create final videos that are entertaining, informative, and visually stunning.
• Design on-brand motion graphics and animations for video content.
• Continuously learning and implementing new editing techniques and practices to maximize efficiency
• Create extremely engaging 1-2 minute introductions for each video

Requirements

• Knowledgeable in timing, continuity, and other factors important to creating a good video
• Experience with color correction and grading.
• Fluent in English
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Advanced video editing skill
• Highly motivated and hardworking
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Proven quality work experience as a long-form content editor
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
