Position Summary

Purpose

Responsible for managing installation, reactivations and demobilizations of Subsea Robotics equipment as directed by the Global Installation Manager in support of Fleet Management objectives. Primary support area is APAC.Primary onshore position where some traveling to installations sites may be required.

Essential

• Ensure equipment as provided is suitable and ready for installation, including verifying all certifications are up to date.
• Engage with rig/vessel representatives in planning all activities including the adequate support required, required services and any other location specific requirements such as zone rating and classification (eg: DNV).
• Direct installation activities and personnel at the direction of the Global Installations Manager and in support of the Fleet requirements.
• Ensure all HSE goals and proactive measures are being met and participate in resolution of any/all issues (Incident reports, Tap Roots, Near Hits).
• Verify all documentation is accurate including any audit documentation, certifications, manuals, as-installed drawings, etc.
• Discuss crew evaluations and plan enhancements with Project and Operations Managers as appropriate.

• Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
• Ensure division comply all requirements of ISO 17020, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Ensure all his/her subordinates are completed with any necessary skill, develop subordinates capability, and lead subordinates reach the target.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position has supervisory responsibilities .

• Senior Manager , SSR Global Installation.

Required

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of installations experience to include at least two years of Administrative, Office, project manager, or Operations Management; or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

• Work surface is stable (flat).
• Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night.
• This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
• Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace .
