Site Manager

Qualification:

• Previous experience in buying and negotiations with supply chain
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision making and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to conduct a material survey
• Able to commit to extended hours where necessary
• Able to deal with difficult clients or suppliers
• Results orientated with a positive outlook
• Have sufficient English ability, both oral and written (passive)
• Excellent project management and cost management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Have good time management and prioritizing skills
• Computer literate, specifically Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Min. Bachelor of Mechanical / Engineering / Material / equivalent from any related major
• Have a valid driving license A and/or C
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team
• Willing to be placed anywhere depending on company needs
• At least 1 year of working experience, preferably in plastic recycling and/or plastic manufacturing
• Have been vaccinated for vaccine 1, vaccine 2, and vaccine booster, proven by vaccine certificates

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Keep in close contact with members of their site team at all times, and liaise with relevant parties, e.g. suppliers, recycler facility, government, etc.
• Oversee delivery of materials and carry out safety checks and sort out any problems
• Conducting a survey in order to obtain potential suppliers and ensure the availability ofsupply chain
• Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis, and ensure that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards
• Create weekly and monthly reports
• Ensure the achievement of efficiency and productivity
• Ensure that work complies with Prevented Ocean Plastic standards as well as other legal requirements
• Coordinate training and professional development activities for employees
• Mediate on-site conflicts
• Makes sure the progress is running well with the plan
• Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner
• Conduct staff performance reviews
