What You’ll Do

As a Security Consulting Engineer (SCE), you will be responsible for providing technical guidance, design, implementation, and support for security projects and initiatives in Indonesia. You will work closely with the sales team, customers, partners, and vendors to identify and deliver security solutions that meet the customer’s needs and expectations. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams within Cisco to provide the best solutions for our customers.

You will be part of the Security Architecture team, which is responsible for delivering Cisco’s security solutions portfolio, including network security, cloud security, endpoint security, threat intelligence, and identity and access management. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative and disruptive technologies in the industry, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and quantum computing.

You will also work with some of the best customers and partners in the region who can help you deliver value to our customers. You will report to the Security Architecture Manager who will support you in your career development and growth.

You are a self-motivated and results-oriented SCE who can build trust and rapport with customers and partners. You have excellent communication and presentation skills that can influence decision-makers at all levels. You have strong technical skills and knowledge that can help you design and implement security solutions. You have a growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

• Ability to travel within the assigned territory
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, consulting, or pre-sales, preferably in the IT industry
• Knowledge of Cisco’s products, solutions, and services, especially in the areas of security
• Proven track record of delivering complex security projects and solutions
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
