Software Engineer (Android) Jobs

What You Will Do

• Communicate, collaborate and work effectively across cross functional teams in a global environment
• Internalize and utilize GoTo's values in daily interactions
• Create the unit test with a high code coverage percentage, and accurately cover the whole business logic and ensure non-flakiness
• Coordinate with cross functional teams (i.e. Backend, DevOps, Design etc.) on planning and execution
• Design, build and improve the online and offline mobile experiences for our products
• Partner with the product management team to define and execute the feature roadmap
• Mentor and provide career guidance for junior engineers on your team
• Proactively manage stakeholders communication related to deliverables, risks, changes and dependencies

What You Will Need

• At least 2-4 years of experience with Android development
• Well-versed with Agile methodologies, Jira, Git, CI/CD, Test Engineering and Automation
• Working experience with popular libraries for networking, concurrency, async, mobile database etc
• Ability to write model code for functional and nonfunctional requirements and help improve the code quality standard across the team
• Proficiency in Kotlin programming, Android Studio, unit test, mobile database and the Android SDK
• Strong understanding of Android Apps architecture and implementation
