Job Description

New Product Introduction/Projects Program Manager (PMO)

We are searching for a program manager to help ensure our new products, large-scale projects and other business critical deliverables are executed efficiently and effectively!As NPI Program Manager in the PMO office, you will execute on projects, as well as oversee our NPI product portfolio to ensure on-time launches, from customer requirements to mass production.


Job description:

  • Adapt and adjust project management and execution methodology to best leverage the strengths of the organization.
  • Clearly communicate to members of the leadership team around the health and status of projects; drive transparency and governance across functions related to projects.
  • Work with R&D to develop initial product cost estimate and monitor cost through the development phase against cost targets. Participate in cost reductions where possible.
  • Drive other company-wide projects including deployment of Esco Business System (EBS) at global sites.
  • Participate in new process development, optimize existing process and implement technical breakthrough activities through Lean methodology to reduce manufacturing costs and/or enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Drive operational readiness to support development builds, trial manufacturing build and initial mass production. Conduct reviews and compile reports.
  • Contribute to building our PMO capability, promoting teamwork, goal setting and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Ensure the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of multiple New Product Introduction projects, from customer requirements, through to production in our manufacturing facilities.
  • Work with PME (Product Management Executive), sales and technical supports and R&D to ensure feedback/improvement from customers/offices are implemented.


Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years relevant experience in leading medium to large scale projects in any discipline within manufacturing operations.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong in Project Management with proven track record. PMP Certification will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience and knowledge in lean manufacturing, supply chain, quality standards/regulatory requirements will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge and hands-on in Project Management software/tools, ERP System and ISO standards.
  • Tertiary education or bachelor’s in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to lead and drive meeting/discussion, communicate issues and resolve conflicts within cross functional teams.
