About Us:

Royal HaskoningDHV delivers tailor made engineering and scientific solutions to our clients across Australia, the Pacific and South East Asia. We are experts in the maritime, river, estuarine and coastal sectors, providing consultancy advice and civil and structural design services to clients in a number of sectors.

Due to increased demand we are now seeking full time permanent Project Manager Head to join our team. This position is based out of Jakarta. You will play a key role in growing our business by supporting the development of the client base and delivery of exciting projects throughout Indonesia.

Job Duties:

Deliver specific Industry and Building advisory, engineering and management projects, including project delivery, project management and site supervision, and services that meet the Company’s, clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

You will have a major impact on our place in the market and our ability to win and execute top projects. You will play a key role in showing and growing our top expertise and will also significantly contribute to account management and our profitability and reputation. You will have an outward-looking focus, with an ability to prioritise work-winning, delivering quality solutions and gaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Core Activities

The core activities of the Project Manager Head role are as follows:

• Internal Haskoning Indonesia – Daily guidance and monitoring the workload of Project Management Teams. Initiate monthly Project Health Check togeter with the Project managers. Highly involve in the recruitment process for Project management Team as well as develop and maintain continous training program. Actively communicate with different Associate Director Advisory Group.
• Project Management – To manage and direct Haskoning Indonesia projects, in line with RHDHV guidelines and procedures.
• Account management – Build and maintain a network of internal and external clients from which opportunities and projects can be acquired.
• Clients – To understand who the clients are in the Industry and Building sector, maintain communication to support project execution. Part of steering group meeting to support the projects execution in high level. Help the client to determine their needs and to then be able to identify how we service them with the solutions that they require.
• Market knowledge – Ensure that Haskoning Australia stays up-to-date with current developments in the maritime and IFI market and that you are also up-to-date with product knowledge in your own area of expertise and the knowledge is shared.
• Advice – To provide high level project delivery advice and solutions to our clients, in line with RHDHV quality standards, whilst ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Negotiations – lead contract negotiations with clients in line with project scoping, commercial and RHDHV project management guidelines, in order to generate work for self and others.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Desirable: Project Management Profesional (PMP)
• Provide direction and advice on project delivery matters, teaches, mentors others in the team
• Team Player
• Able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Outward looking
• Independent thinker
• Takes ownership and demonstrates leadership
• Essential: Engineering Degree
• Highly effective project management and project delivery skills in the relevant disciplines
• Confident and personable
