Project Manager (F&B Retail)

A rapidly expanding F&B retailer is seeking a talented Project Manager (F&B Retail) to take on a newly created role in Jakarta. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for all related projects.

About The Project Manager (F&B Retail) Role

Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Project Manager will play a key role in the company's continued development and success in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project planning including budget, timeline, team building (choosing contractor, consultant, etc.)
• Plan, design, manage and review construction, development, or manipulation of a physical environment for practical or creative objectives (including restaurants, buildings, landscapes, and/or other standalone property)
• Evaluate project budget, prepares cost comparison and appropriate vendors
• Prepare reports for management and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the timeliness of the project
• Develop cost estimates, BOQ, equipment specification, construction material, work schedule and technical specification
• Actively involve in design development process with designer and all stakeholders
• Architectural Innovation and Design: Use multiple perspectives to design and incorporate aesthetic qualities that significantly increase stakeholders’ satisfaction by turning independent thoughts into designs, drawings, and models creating an outstanding solution for the client
• Monitor all working progress to ensure the quality, specifications and Company standards (including SOP) are met
• Oversee overall project from project designs, BOQ and monitoring project execution to make sure that the project goes as per plan from project initiation through completion while managing the budgets until full completion of the construction
• Interior Design: Determine the best material for each project (good quality, relevant to overall design, aligned with budget)

To succeed in this role you must have the ability to lead effectively and possess a keen understanding of civil works and project management.

Key Requirements

• Strong skills in project management, have good taste in design and material selection also great leadership and communication skills
• Understands AutoCAD programmes and Microsoft Project
• At least five years of work experience in a related field is required for this position (preferably for contractor, developer, restaurant group, high rise building or mixed use)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• Able to understand and analyse detailed drawings from interior designer
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD tools and SketchUp
