Operations Manager Jobs

The operations manager is responsible for the technical management, supervision, and control of industrial production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Apply and follow national, international, and internal requirements quoted in standards, regulations, and other specifications related to the manufacturing of food.
• Develops, implements, and enforces operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality and revenue.
• Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team.
• Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free.
• Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
• Interpret data from different sources, like market data, scientific papers, and customer requirements in order to research development and innovation in the food sector.
• Hire, train & manage the team to ensure desired performance is achieved and all operating standards are adhered to.
• Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.

Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Fluent in English both oral and written.
• Abachelor’s degree in food science and technology, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
