Head Of Technology Modernization

This role will direct reporting to CTO (Chief Technology Officer) who will responsible to modernize legacy system include develop the SOA middleware.

Responsibilities

#1. Supervising and looking after three departments:

• Middle & Back Office Modernization (incl. existing core banking upgrade, digital human capital, digital procurement, workflow management, etc)
• IT Operations (incl. Service Management, Release Management, DBA and Production Support)
• New Digital Development (incl. super-apps, supply chain financing, cash management, loan platform, digital contact centre, etc)

#2. Coordinating with other divisions and directorates to perform digital transformation.

#3. Working together with selected solution providers to develop and maintain the new digital applications, which are mainly in Google Cloud Platform environment

#4. Manage and technically collaborate for SIT, UAT and Go-live.

#5. Developing the sizeable team to manage the digital development, IT operation and Service Management.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding in query optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or relevant field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Deep understanding and implementing the event driven based such Kafka, PubSub, etc.
• Demonstrated proven track record in leading and developing sizable IT development as well as IT support/operation teams.
• Familiar and knowledgeable with Agile methodology, Java Springboot and GoLang programming, IT Service Management practices, cloud infrastructure, and the necessary IT security
• 10-15 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing development of back office and middleware with banking or financial industry is preffered.
• Have direct experiences with Google Cloud Platform
• Must be fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Deep understanding and implementing microservices.
• Deep understanding and implementing the API Management such as JSON, gRPC, and GraphQL.
