Job Title: Experienced E-commerce Accountant

Location: Bali, Indonesia

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail / e-commerce, shopify, accounting, finance, and operations, and must be familiar with XERO software. The role requires excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. The candidate must be based in Bali or willing to relocate to Bali.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting activities using XERO, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements using XERO.

• Perform monthly closing activities using XERO, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

• Prepare tax returns and work with external auditors during audits.

• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts as needed.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the e-commerce fields.

• Experience using XERO software and other accounting software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
