This position will be responsible to formulate and execute event concepts, pre-event planning and effectively engage in relevant public policy discussions to disseminate key policy messages of CIPS and to ensure events are executed with the desired quality and reach the targeted outcome. Build and maintain positive relationships with external vendors, CIPS’ partners and also produce high quality event documents and materials in both Bahasa Indonesia and English that are suitable for external dissemination.
Responsibilities
- Developing event concepts and strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Preparing event documents for the internal team and the external stakeholders, including event tracker, event timeline, invitation, and registration form.
- Coordinating logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, travel arrangements, and accommodations.
- Identifying and inviting keynote speakers, panelists, and other experts to participate in events.
- Managing event budgets and timelines, ensuring that events stay within budget and are delivered on time.
- Initiate the creation of engaging marketing and promotional materials to promote events to the target audience by sharing sufficient information to the Digital Marketing Team.
- Managing event registration and attendee communication.
- Conducting post-event evaluations and reporting to measure the effectiveness of events.
Qualifications
1.Candidates must be Indonesian citizens with at least a Bachelor’s university degree.
2. Hold a minimum 2 years’ experience as a proactive, confident, and excellent communicator and organiser in handling and leading online and offline events.
3. Fresh Graduates with Event Management experience are welcome to apply
4. Able to demonstrate strong self-leadership and initiative in project and event management.
5. Fluent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (oral and written), preferably with experience in public speaking, including MC/moderating.
6. Interested in public policy issues, stays up-to-date with economic and social developments in Indonesia, and is familiar with CIPS’ research focus areas.
7. Able to perform effectively and confidently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
