Engineer / Senior Engineer Jobs

Our CAE team is expanding and we are looking for talents who are passionate about motor control system in DC/DC and AC/DC - Flyback and LLC resonant converters In your new role you will:

• Work cross functionally with Marketing, hardware design, chip design, and software and content development teams
• Provide system level technical customer support for applications related Infineon motor control solution offerings
• Perform detail circuit analysis with modelling, simulation, and bench validation based on customer application requirements; generate reference schematics, BOM, PCB layout guidelines, and test reports for customers; develop simulation models and design assistant tools where needed
• Provides customer support on product level for of DC/DC and AC/DC - Flyback and LLC resonant converters
• Work with Field Application Engineer, Sales and Marketing closely to secure design-in / win on application level
• Assist customers with Application hardware/software/firmware development for motor control products
• Hands on lab bring up and debugging of analog circuits, voltage regulators, and power distribution circuits

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Knowledge of power MOSFET, gate driver requirements and parameters, and experience with controller modeling.
• Knowledge of power MOSFET, gate driver requirements and parameters, and experience with controller modeling.
• Familiar with Safety, EMC and Energy compliance testing of power supplies
• In depth experience in Mixed Signal PMIC IC architecture for topologies such as Buck Boost, LLC and similar
• In depth knowledge/experience in SMPS/PSU (power supply unit) design and the topologies.
• Entry level candidate are welcome to apply
• Experience with simulation tools such as Simplis, Spice, Matlab
• Experience in IC architecture of USB-PD, Wireless Charger and/or similar high-density chargers
• Must have very good communications skills, both written and verbal.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in high-frequency, high-current, high voltage, high-density AC/DC DC/DC designs will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Battery Management in battery powered application is a plus.
• Knowledge of power conversion topologies, magnetics and control system design with extensive lab skills to test and debug of switch mode power supplies
• Strong experience in the areas of DC/DC and AC/DC - Flyback and LLC resonant converters
