As a Customer Service Representative for our bike rental service, you will be the face of our company, responsible for delivering excellent customer experiences and ensuring smooth operations. You will play a crucial role in assisting customers, resolving inquiries, and promoting our bike rental services.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers, both in-person and over the phone, helping them with rental inquiries, bike selection, and providing information about routes, safety guidelines, and local attractions.
- Rental Process: Manage the bike rental process, including registration, payment collection, and issuing rental agreements. Ensure accuracy of rental documentation and explain terms and conditions to customers.
- Safety and Instruction: Educate customers on bike safety measures, provide instructions on proper helmet usage, bike lock techniques, and demonstrate the use of gears and brakes to ensure a safe riding experience.
- Conflict Resolution: Address customer concerns, complaints, or issues promptly and effectively, finding suitable solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain positive relationships.
- Inventory Management: Track and manage the inventory of available bikes, coordinating with other team members to ensure an adequate supply of rental bikes and accessories are available at all times.
- Sales and Promotion: Promote additional services, such as guided tours, bike accessories, or memberships, to enhance customer experience and generate additional revenue.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, rental paperwork, and maintaining accurate customer records.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different customers.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the hospitality or rental industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with patience and empathy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using reservation systems and MS Office applications.
