Job Description

Key Reports:


Asst. Wholesale Manager is responsible on planning and executing the wholesale business activities to assist on sustainable growth within the WS business. Maintain and develop great relation to existing accounts and grow the business together vertically.


Responsibilities:

Account Management

  • Plan and conduct go to market buy seasonally.
  • Provide both proposal and feedback on product assortment and products trends for each account.
  • Provide monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all Internal Control procedures: Maintain inventory accuracy. Ensure monthly physical counts up to standard.
  • Effective utilization of company system and its inventory management and invoicing functions.
  • Complete all account administration in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills in dealing with accounts and business partners.
  • Up to date with the market in Bali (tourist and local) to be able to strategize the sales.
  • Create, propose and execute yearly and monthly sales plan.
  • Perform other projects, as assigned by Wholesale Manager
  • Profit and Loss responsibility, with particular attention given to controllable expenses, sales plan and operating profit.
  • Together with WS manager to work on ensuring full business alignment with partners on revenue target and supports.
  • KPI is based on sales and account performance.
  • Monitor customer feedback and competitive activity to ensure that the company meets customer needs and expectations

Account Management with floor team

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Conduct product and selling skills training to their sales team.
  • Presence on the sales floor to assist account sales team from spot coaching on selling technique to assist on closing sales.
  • Demonstrate sales leadership to account sales staff for the John Hardy selling skills.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards as set forth by company.
  • Maintain day to day operations.
  • Ensure that customer sales service is also up to the brand standard.
  • Continuously coach and support accounts’ sales team about John Hardy universe. And to ensure that all account sales team are knowledgeable of all company products, company information and history. Be up-to-date with company news.


Professional Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
  • 5 years strong sales experience in wholesale and luxury industry
  • Excellent relationship development and sales skills
  • Ability to work with a variety of different cultures with inputs from both local field and offices (Hong Kong) and head office (New York)
