Headquartered in Hong Kong, we started as a 2-man team in 2012 and have grown into a SaaS company known for being a market leader with significant wins, essentially being the first to introduce BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) QR code ordering technology to Hong Kong and Singapore.

In 2019, we experienced our most significant growth to date: resulting in 6 regional offices across APAC, 130 team members with continuous increment, plus serving over 500 global F&B and Hospitality brands including KFC, Burger King, Starbucks, IKEA, and Muji.

What your daily work looks like:

• Create the look and feel of Aigens' Design Systems, its design language, UI components and design patterns, from ideas to execution.
• Handoff high fidelity UX/UI designs and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to understand user and business requirements to inform design decisions
• Work closely with engineers to ensure a high level of quality delivery across all platforms (web, iOS, Android)
• Assist in performing research and usability remotely or in the field to understand design problems and validate solutions
• Document design guidelines and UX flow to enhance the communication between all parties
• Create designs from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity mockups

We are looking for someone with:

• Able to collaborate effectively with others, including designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders
• Understanding of Figma componentisation and design system best practices
• Basic understanding of development disciplines, including HTML and CSS
• 2+ years of product design experience, including experience designing for desktop and mobile with design systems and component library
• Familiarity with designing for multiple platforms, including native and responsive design
• Willing to work in a startup environment, being flexible with can-do attitude
• With omnichannel retail design experience
• Has a user-focused approach and prioritizes the end user's needs
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in Restaurant Automation or F&B Tech is a plus
• Demonstrates a continuous learning mindset and keeps up-to-date with the latest developments in the field
• Having experience in writing unit tests and integration tests would be an advantage for the candidate.
