Responsible for managing and overseeing an organization's tax compliance and financial reporting processes. They play a crucial role in ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant tax laws and regulations while accurately reporting its financial performance. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing tax returns, and maintaining records of financial transactions. Additionally, the Tax and Accounting Officer may be involved in providing financial advice to management and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Responsibilities:

• Recordkeeping: Maintain organized and detailed financial records and documentation, including receipts, invoices, and other financial transactions.
• Auditing: Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes. Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing inputs and insights to support strategic planning.
• Financial Reporting: Handle the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Compliance Support: Assist in preparing documentation and information for government audits and inquiries related to taxes and financial matters.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the tax and accounting functions and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements:

• Attention to Detail: The role involves dealing with complex financial information, so attention to detail is critical to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software, tax preparation software, and spreadsheet applications is essential.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently to handle various responsibilities effectively.
• Tax laws and accounting standards may change, so the ability to adapt to regulatory changes and industry best practices is vital.
• A high level of integrity and ethics is required.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically required. Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) may be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to interact with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and tax authorities effectively.
• Previous experience in tax preparation, financial reporting, or accounting is essential. The specific required experience may vary depending on the company's size and complexity.
• Willing to work on-site at East Kemang, South Jakarta.
• In-depth understanding of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles is crucial. Familiarity with financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) is important.
