Our business is built on a Sustainable Forest Management Policy. Our operations include a state-of-the-art pulp and paper mill and plantation forests in Riau Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. We directly employ more than 5,000 people and 90,000 more work in businesses that supply or support us.


Our pulp and paper is capable of producing up to 2.8 million tons of pulp and 1.15 million tons of paper per year. The mill is one of TOP FIVE MOST EFFICIENT pulp and paper mills in the world. It uses world-class engineering and technology to produce quality pulp and paper products. We operate the mill on the principles of “lean manufacturing”, which results in efficient practices in the use of energy and water and in minimizing emissions.


We are seeking for a Social Media Specialist (SMS) position for our company. As the SMS, you will be responsible to effectively engage with targeted audience and communities. Your primary focus is to educate, achieve engagement, drive website traffic and increase top of mind of the company.


Key responsibilities:

- Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification

- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content that builds meaningful connection and increase awareness of company

- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedule

- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing appropriate social media/metrics, insights and best practices

- Collaborate with other department to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

- Coordinate internal announcement and campaigns in a timely and effective manner to all employees.

- Collaborate with various teams to identify communication needs, and ensure alignment of internal branding and messaging, aligning with external communications efforts.


Experience and relevant skills:

- Proven minimum five years’ experience as a social media specialist

- Excellent writing, presentation, editing and communications skills

- Adequate knowledge social analytics tools and SEO

- Fluency in English, strong written and verbal

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

- Positive attitude, detail oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
