A boutique style resort in Cook Islands is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Server (Full-time)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain proper dining experience, deliver items, fulfil customer needs, offer desserts and drinks, remove courses, replenish utensils and refill glasses
• Adhere to table reservation system
• Serve food and beverage to guests as per the course of order
• Fill in for absent staff as needed
• Provide information about the products and services available at the resort
• Greet all guests and offer assistance to help
• Attend to timely customer complaints and report any to his immediate Superior
• Assist guests find seats and present them with the menus
• Obtain revenues, issue receipts, accept payments and return the change
• Inform guests about the special items for the day and menu changes
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
• Suggest food and beverages to guests and do upsell
• Punch the order on the POS machine and make sure to enter the special requirements made by the guests while ordering the food
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Attend meetings as required

Requirements:

• Experience in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Proven work experience as a Server or in a similar role
• Knowledge of fine service food operations and variety of styles of services
• A relevant Certificate or Diploma along with 1-2 years related
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
• Problem-solving skills and customer-oriented approach
• Indonesian citizen
• Willing to relocate to Cook Islands
• Fluent in written and verbal English communication
• Responsible and trustworthy
