We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer for our existing software that need to be upgraded with the new features (payroll), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design architecture, and implement software applications that meet business needs. Responsibilities:

• Identify and address technical debt and refactor legacy code when necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software engineering practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software applications.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues and propose effective solutions.
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and performance of the software.

Requirements:

• A self-driven mindset with a passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL.
• In-depth knowledge of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on back-end development.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, C#, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with modern software development frameworks and tools, such as Spring, .NET, Django, or Ruby on Rails.

Qualifications:

• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.

• Hands on experience working with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
