Our projects centre around food security, carbon capture, sustainable agriculture, plastic waste management, sustainable aquaculture, forestry conservation, and mangrove preservation and restoration. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Project Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our mission.

Job Summary: As the Senior Project Coordinator, you will be the right-hand operator to our Chief Operating Officer, spearheading the execution and coordination of our sustainable projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless project implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to deliver on our commitment to sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning and organising projects: Develop project timelines and identify resources required.
2. Coordination and Collaboration: Overseeing the implementation including coordinating with project teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
3. Impact Measurement and Reporting: Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure the impact of our projects. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate results and progress.
4. Data analytics: Using technology to structure, analyse and manage project data effectively.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage with government agencies, NGOs, service providers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure project alignment, support, and compliance.
6. Communication with internal stakeholders: Including senior management and project teams, to provide updates on project and ensure they align with the company’s overall objectives.
7. Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the fields of sustainability, carbon capture, agriculture, waste management, aquaculture, forestry, and mangrove preservation, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in project coordination/management, preferably in the environmental or sustainability sector.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, permits, and sustainability standards.
• Passion for environmental sustainability and a strong commitment to making a positive impact.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the credits (carbon/biodiversity/plastics) ecosystem.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental sciences/engineering, sustainability, project management).
• Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
