Senior Manager - Legal And Compliance

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager - Legal and Compliance to join our team in Jakarta. The successful candidate will oversee all legal and compliance matters within the company and provide strategic guidance to our senior leadership team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to the success of the company by ensuring that we operate with integrity and in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Here is how you’ll be contributing to Our Mission

• Building and maintaining relationships with relevant authorities (OJK, AFPI, AfTech etc.)
• Develop and deliver training programs on legal and compliance matters for employees
• Advising on legal matters, and support in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including licensing agreements, vendor agreements, and service agreements.
• Review and evaluate existing company procedures & processes, and suggest changes where required.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, communicate relevant updates to the senior leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the company's risk management framework.
• Develop, implement and manage legal & compliance policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Liaising with partner’s legal & compliance team to create compliant products.
• Leading and owning BOD & BOC meetings, regulatory reporting and compliance matters.

A bit about you:

• Degree in Law from an accredited law university/school.
• Experience in legal risk management and corporate governance.
• Strong knowledge of financial services laws and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Bahasa.
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities and an analytical mind with exceptional organizational skills.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of legal and compliance experience, preferably in the fintech industry.
