Senior It Business Analyst

Job Purpose

This position is primarily responsible in gathering users’ requirements for new system and/or system enhancement, analysis of requirements, recommendation and evaluation of appropriate end-to-end IT solutions.

The Job

• Report issues that impact project progress and outline the actions required
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
• Support UAT, training and implementation activities to ensure a successful delivery
• Collaborate with team to develop holistic and complete IT solutions
• Create and execute SIT test plan and test cases
• Work in compliance with Group IT processes and policies
• Understand the business needs and convert these into requirement artefacts
• Analyse and make recommendation on associated business processes
• Resolve design and business issues in relation to requirements gathered with relevant stakeholders

Our Requirements

• At least 5 years of working experience in Banking & Finance industry, with at least 3 years as a Business Analyst
• Able to work independently with moderate supervision
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
• Possess interpersonal and communication skills needed to coordinate and work effectively
• Degree in computer science or related field
• Meticulous and efficient in following through tasks assigned
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
• Strong ability to solve problem, make decision, and to influence others
