Job Description

Responsibility


This role will ensure that Global Finance end-to-end processes have clear ownership, fully

documented and controlled, and have a focus on continuous improvement.

• Support proactive scanning of external best practices to identify process improvement opportunities in

terms of efficiency, control and value add.

• Coordinate and deliver the operation of the process improvement framework which ensures the

continual review and optimisation of all finance processes, including the robust updated

documentation of these processes.

• Support the delivery of global projects within the remit of your functional process.

• Coordinate and deliver the development of effective new system and process roadmaps.

• Responsible for the robust assessment of change impacts.

• Responsible for the creation and management of all documentation which enables the effective

delivery of processes within the functional remit.

• Support setting the data requirements of the functional process and how this data is used to support

these processes.

• Coordinate and deliver process health checks and the creation and reporting of process KPIs.

• Support the prioritisation of change requests, through the consideration of the needs of the business,

Finance, and internal / external audit, identifying compromises and mitigations as required.

• Responsible for the co-ordination of changes related to Finance process change, into the function, and

also into those business areas impacted by that change.

• Coordinate and deliver the creation and management of documentation which is used to operate the

applicable 'design authority', which oversees all process change within PZC.

• Coordinate and deliver the creation of business cases which set out the benefit of change so as to fund

the provision of resource and/or services with which to deliver that change.

• Actively engage with the embedding of globally standardized end-to-end processes.

• Responsible for the capture of detailed Business requirements through interactions with the

Community of Practice.

• Responsible for the capture and management of issues across the Community of Practice which impact

the delivery of change within your global functional process remit.

• Management and delivery of the training plan so as to ensure all users of the processes are adequately

trained.

• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of appropriate training materials.


Qualifications

Finance qualification with at least 5 years post qualification experience.

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent qualification.

• Experience of working in a global organization finance function, ideally in FMCG or Retail.

Experience within significant process and technology change.

• Has a good knowledge of SAP.

• Fluent in English.

• Experience in process efficiency techniques such as 6 Sigma, Lean Management.

• Is considered as skilled in terms of communication, decision making, enabling others, change management,

and investment appraisal.

• Is considered to have a good understanding of influence & negotiation, project management, control &

compliance, and financial processing.
