Continuous Improvement Manager Jobs

Job Function:

The Lamipak Continuous Improvement (LCI) Manager is responsible for driving the continuous improvement culture at Lamipak Indonesia. He/she will support in controlling and managing all LCI activities in each pillar with pillar owner and line managers to achieve continual improvement of equipment efficiency, reduction of claim, defect, waste, and safety incident in the journey of culture towards zero loss status ultimately.

Responsibility:

• Ensure that all continuous improvement projects are documented
• Lead Focused Improvement (FI) & Quality Management (QM) pillar to make Kaizen loss analysis, set and drive Kaizen team’s for efficiency improvement, defect & waste reduction
• Continuously benchmark industry best practices to identify future improvements and opportunities
• Proactively involve employees at all levels of the organization to gain input and support
• Conduct and support pillars as a consult, to promote LCI or TPM capability of pillar leaders and members
• Coordinate LCI or TPM pillars on continuous Kaizen activities
• Take full responsible to drive World Class Manufacturing (LCI) or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) management in the plant
• Manage and conduct audit on daily work of LCI pillars to realize operation target
• Strategize with management to initiate LCI projects. Determine the scope, objectives activities, metrics, cost, schedule and necessary resource requirements to drive forward continuous improvement culture
• Lead and assist LCI training efforts in educating and training all company team members in the various LCI manufacturing concepts, tools, and methods

Qualifications:

• Strong strategic and critical thinking with sound leadership skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills that build relationships at all levels across the organization with the ability to influence and collaborate
• Good communication skills in English
• Experience leading teams in a World Class Manufacturing (WCM), involved in JIPM certification, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Manufacturing or other similar continuous improvement framework is highly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a similarly related field
• Project management skills including ability to create action plans and timelines, manage multiple programs simultaneously on time and within budget.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Have deep understanding and rich experience in implementation of continuous improvement methodology
• Exceptional oral presentation skills, interpersonal communication, writing skills, and a desire to coach others
