Secondary Mathematics Teacher Jobs

Jakarta Montessori School (JMS) is currently seeking experienced qualified Mathematics teacher/guide to join our growing school at the following levels;

• Secondary (ages 12 – 16)
• IB Mathematics (ages 16 – 18)

Founded in 1986, we are an accredited authentic world class Montessori school for students and aged 18 months to 17 years. We follow a Montessori curriculum at all levels throughout the school.

JMS is currently situated in a green area of South Jakarta and has a student body of just under 140 students with a strategic plan to expand our Montessori Secondary and a student body of around 200.

Responsibilities

Inspire adolescents to have a love of mathematics and how it relates to real life.

Using the Montessori Adolescent Mathematic Curriculum for Y7 - &10 and the IBDP Curriculum for Y11 & Y12

Work collaboratively with other secondary teachers.

Qualifications

Linear Bachelor Degree or higher; IBDP experience desired; Montessori Pedagogical knowledge preferred; Good written and verbal English language proficiency; Good computer literacy; Good communication and interpersonal skills in order to liaise with students and other parties.
