Hotel Overview


Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta's Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta will feature 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a 1,200 square-meter ballroom.



Restaurant Assistant Manager (VIEW Steak Bar)


The main responsibility of the Assistant Manager is to be involved in day to day operations of VIEW Steak Bar, ensuring that all standard procedures, rules and regulations, the quality of service and sequence of service are highly implemented and emphasized by the colleagues. S/he facilitates all guest needs and expectations in the outlets by providing exceptional service. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the entire operation in the absence of the Manager. S/hhe will support any activities of the management. operating results.

What You Will Be Doing


  • Ensures information is properly passed on to the team (briefings and debriefings with the kitchen staff etc)
  • Establishes good relations with guests, offering advice and fostering customer loyalty
  • With outlet manager organizes the work for the team, including the need to multi-skill in employees' job requirements
  • Ensures the point of sale is prepared to a high standard
  • Ensures guests are well looked after, from the moment they arrive to the time they leave
  • Promotes the F&B offer under his/her responsibility
  • Assists the Outlet Manager to check and evaluate the quality and speed of waiter service
  • Enquires whether guests are satisfied throughout the meal.
  • Ensures the equipment used remains in good condition
  • Offers attentive service to guests, adapting to any constraint
  • Takes the global level of activity into account when managing the flow of guests, placement at tables and reservations

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be a highly organized person with strong planning skills.
  • Analytical skills, strength as a developer and a leader of others are essential.
  • International experience an asset
  • Goal and results oriented.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
