Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Innovation Lead to join our snack company's R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative snack products from concept to commercialization, ensuring they meet consumer needs, are cost-effective, and are produced efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure product launch success
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and sensory evaluations to ensure new products meet financial goals and taste expectations
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and food safety standards
• Develop new snack products from concept to commercialization, leveraging market trends and consumer insights
• Continuously monitor product performance and consumer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Manage timelines and budgets for product development projects

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of product development processes, sensory evaluation, and food safety regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development in the food industry, preferably in snacks
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
