Regional Coordinator – Java Jobs

With its main trading base in Geneva, Sucafina sources coffee, often directly from farmers, to provide its partners with sustainable value across the global supply chain.

Sucafina is looking for a professional person interested in international green coffee trading to join our sustainability team in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Provide agronomy support to the farmers
• Actively involve in farmers meeting, training and engagement with supplier chain collector’s
• Monitor the implementation and control the field activities cost
• Define local sustainability missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements in alignment with the company’s commercial and sustainable goals
• Managing direct supply chain up stream procurement and maintain traceability till the farmers level
• Developing field activities SOP’s, training model and budget for the region
• Provide direction and monitor day to day activities on the ground
• Manage certification program
• Maintain good relationship with internal and external partners

Qualifications and Experience

• Practical knowledge of certifications such as Café Practice, Rainforest Alliance, 4C, Fairtrade, and others
• Knowledge of coffee production regions is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Sciences, Biology, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or Forestry
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a regional coordinator in coffee, cocoa, or any plantation commodity
• Sound knowledge of basic agronomy and procurement
