Quality Control (Qc) Lab Supervisor

ABOUT THE JOB

Perfetti Van Melle is a privately-owned company, producing and distributing candies and chewing gums in more than 150 countries worldwide.

The business is now looking for a strong full time Quality Control (QC) Lab Supervisor, working based in Cibinong, Bogor.

In this role, you will report directly to the Quality Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will be responsible for:

1. Managing internal laboratory analysis (chemical, and microbiology) for incoming and in-process.
2. Managing and leading the implementation of Good Laboratory Practices.
3. Managing all product monitoring by working together with reputable external lab.
4. Managing product stability through durability, accelerated and transport test.
5. Managing and maintain ISO 17025 certification and provide all the necessary documents.
6. Maintaining equipment calibration plan and ensure the verification equipment process is done based on its frequency.
7. Maintaining and updating internal QC documentation based on the most recent Group or International standards.
8. Ensuring safety aspect in daily QC activities.
9. Participating and active in Global Analytical Network as representative of PVMI.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We need you to have:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry, food technology or other related majors
• Experience min 3 years in laboratory, preferably from laboratory like Intertek, SGS and any other multinational lab
• Experience with HPLC and many other chemical and microbiological analysis
• Strong leadership and agility
