At KMK, the Quality Revolution Committee (QRC) leads the ever-high quality standard that KMK has kept throughout the years. QRC is KMK’s priority organization that is responsible for building, keeping, and assuring production quality standards and developing, proliferating, and innovating our quality management system.
Job title
Quality Revolution Committee Leader (Quality Planning & Control Lead)
The QRC Leader plans and ensures adherence to quality standards, oversees inspections and tests, collaborates with various departments, and drives our continuous improvement. He/she is responsible for maintaining the overall quality of products by implementing effective quality control measures and addressing any quality issues that arise from beginning to end.
Key Responsibilities
a) Product quality standard design
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine comprehensive quality standards that encompass materials, manufacturing processes, finished products, and packaging, guaranteeing exceptional quality across the footwear product range
b) Quality risk detection & process design
-At the production planning stage, take charge of identifying and mitigating quality risks by implementing proactive measures, conducting risk assessments, and designing robust quality control processes that minimize defects and improve overall product quality
c) Quality training program development
-Evaluate training needs, design training curricula, and utilize various training methodologies to ensure the effective transfer of quality control knowledge and practices throughout the organization.
d) Quality control monitoring & improving
-Monitor and evaluate the entire footwear production process to ensure adherence to established quality standards, identifying any deviations or deficiencies and implementing corrective measures promptly.
e) Quality team management
-Provide effective leadership and supervision to the quality team, including setting clear expectations, defining roles and responsibilities, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Working location
Full time on-site position at Salatiga facility (Selalu Cinta Indonesia)
Requirements
-Education
oA bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as industrial engineering, quality management, manufacturing, or a related discipline, is required.
oAdvanced degrees or certifications in quality management or a related field are preferred.
-Professional Experience
o10~15 years of progressive experience in quality planning, quality control, quality assurance, or a related field within the footwear manufacturing industry.
oExperience in leading quality control initiatives, developing quality standards, and implementing quality control processes is required.
oPreferred background includes experience in managing quality teams, working with cross-functional teams, and implementing quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
-Skills
oProficiency in quality control techniques and practices specific to the footwear manufacturing industry, such as material inspection, process audits, and finished product evaluation.
oStrong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools, including statistical process control, root cause analysis, and quality risk management.
oExperience in developing and delivering quality training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of quality team members and other stakeholders.
oExcellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret quality metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
oFamiliarity with quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001, and the ability to implement and maintain these systems within the organization.
oProficiency in English is preferred, with a focus on moderate language skills.
