Qc Manager (Fine Garments)

In this position you will ensure the Quality of all finished goods, manage & develop skills and training the team members continually, implement the appropriate Quality Management systems according to the process and product.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Training the team members- Encourage focus on fact-based problem solving.
• Determine the skills and competency of team members so that training can be arranged.
• Continuous learning and out of the box thinking.
• Take action on customer complaints in discussion with team to fix SOP.
• Validate the tolerances for critical processes.
• Work closely with sampling section for processing new styles and target dates for all samples
• You will work closely with Production, Merchandising, Inventory Control, and the Warehouse leadership.
• Work closely with mechanic for proper machine setting and tools usage for specific items.
• Consistency of quality and reduce cost of quality.
• Proper allocation of manpower - Conduct daily meetings with the team to discuss all production related problems and give solutions – reallocate manpower as per requirement.
• Performance evaluation of the team members and give suggestions to management accordingly.
• Organize and validate the quality standard of all the production processes and ensure that the finished goods are in a good quality and on time deliver to meet customers’ requirements.
• Maintain good & strong sense of teamwork for achieving maximum results.

Qualifications, Experience and Education desired:

• Be open minded and eager to learn
• Successfully managed up to 100 employees by empowering the key people by mentoring and supporting
• Have experience in various aspects of garment production
• Trouble shooting, fast response, proactive and empathetic
• Garment construction and manufacturing knowledge
• You must be extremely customer centric
• Quality Management system experience based on AQL level followed in the garment industry
