Role Summary:
QA /QC Mechanical Engineer work under general direction, applying their skills and expertise to generate solutions that require development of improved techniques, procedures, or products. Review and coordinate works to provide instruction and guidance on technical issues in accordance with the project requirements.
Responsibilities:

• Witness the tests, controls and inspections, guarantee inspection status control for parts of the plant within his area of responsibility, authorizing their acceptance at quality control completion, obtain the relevant documentation and ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan according to requirements.
• Verify special processes and the relevant workers’ qualifications.
• Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
• Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
• Trays inspection (dimensional check, water tightness test).
• Performs functional checks and mechanical completion checks (pressure and atmospheric vessel)
• Controls equipment installation, alignment and leveling

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 8 year(s) of working experience as QC Mechanical Piping Engineer preferably from Palm Oil Industry (Downstream)
• 1 year contract-based employment
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering
• Willing to be placed in Dumai or Padang with non roster system
