Responsibilities

• Setting and meeting schedule estimates, timelines, and milestones
• Help troubleshoot issues and assisting developers with issue analysis
• Collaborate on and learn new technologies
• Test case design, maintenance, and validation
• Working closely with on-site and remote development resources in several countries
• Identifying and communicating risk and risk mitigation strategies
• In conjunction with data quality team, identify, report, and facilitate performance challenges
• Work closely with Data & Analytics to understand the correct calculations and data pattern expectations
• Reviewing test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure coverage based on requirements
• In conjunction with data quality team, ensure high quality of data delivered platform users
• Verification of patches and bug fixes
• Executing black and white box tests on web-based products
• Identifying issues and generating issue reports

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance in web-based technologies
• Experience creating test cases and testing documentation from requirements/specifications
• Plus if you have experience with programming languages like JavaScript, Node and Java
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and testing methodologies
• Hands on experience with at least one scripting language like Python, BASH, etc
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking capabilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited, four-year university or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with functional, compatibility, integration, performance, and stress testing
• Plus of you have professional data analytics working experience
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience gathering testing requirements for projects with minimal development documentation
• Experience with issue tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.)
