Project Engineer |Doka Indonesia

We are looking for aProject Engineerwho will be responsible in generating designs and drawings to support the growth and success of our business.

Key responsibilities of the role are:

• Ensure that work is designed with available inventory and in conformance with contractual obligations.
• Support the Sales Team during site visits, client presentations and be able coordinate with clients on technical issues.
• Collaborate with the Sales Team to produce AutoCAD drawings using Doka formwork systems during the proposal stage of construction projects and finalize the drawings to be used for actual jobsites.
• Participate in staff training programs on calculations, formwork, product knowledge, and computer systems/software applications.
• Any other duties as may be assigned.
• Responsible for providing material lists for quotations to Sales and Operations Department for shipments to the sites.
• Prepare specifications and calculations for static quotes and deliveries.
• Coordinate with other departments and engineering teams within the region.
• Support the Sales Team by analyzing, determining appropriate formwork solutions that meets customers’ needs (economically, and in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines) and help them convert the lead to signed agreement.

• Knowledge in Formwork Systems
• Well-developed analytical skills
• Minimum five (5) years of system formwork experience
• Able to work independently and as a team player in a results-driven, fast-paced environment
• Strong design skills in AutoCAD 2D / 3D
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment on standard and major projects
• Engaging personality and confident attitude
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia language
• Good listening and probing skills to diagnose client requirements
• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Civil or Construction)
• Familiarity with local and international design codes, such as SNI, BS EN, ASTM preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Local Indonesia Construction Knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines and budgets
• Willingness to travel and be mobile
• Willingness to be involved hands-on in projects if required
