Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure rates received are checked and verified
  • Assist in interacting with liners and NVOCCs and source rates daily
  • Engage with the sales team and management
  • Study service patterns of shipping lines and decide on liner options
  • Contact and liaison with shipping lines and NVOCCs for negotiation
  • Record daily rates
  • Assist in sourcing rates


Requirements

  • Have knowledge of the freight forwarding industry
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Know export services of shipping lines and core liners for different geographical scopes
  • Hold a minimum Bachelor’s Degree from any major related to the field
  • Able to learn quickly
