Legal Intern/Trainee Associate

We are looking for an experienced Associate Lawyer to join our growing team.

Requirements:

1. Excellent academic credentials, LL.M or Master degree at top foreign university is highly desirable;
2. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience at a law firm;
3. Minimum CGPA 3.0 of 4.0;
4. Excellent verbal and written English skill;
5. Experience with a top tier firm would have an added advantage;
6. Have the ability to manage own workload, aspects of complex matters and clients, and can work independently in a young and growing team;
7. Have an entrepreneurial spirit and interest in the firm’s business development;
8. Ability to delegate and manage work-loads of intern and trainee associates;
9. Strongnetworking and organizational skills;
10. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply;
11. Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills.

This role will involve:

1. Excellent international exposure and opportunities to work with the firms’ multinational clients;
2. Exposure to diverse business sectors of the firms’ clients;
3. Cross border M&A deals in different sectors;
4. Advising clients in general corporate matters, employment, personal data protection, TMT, private wealth for ultra-high net worth individuals, commercial litigations, tax advisory, and Islamic finance;
5. Being a part of the firms’ business development initiative.
