Laboratory Manager Jobs

We're opening an opportunity for Lab Manager!

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day lab operations
2. Cost management: budgetary/capacity planning
3. Ensure quality adherence to documented procedures and protocols
4. Training & development of staff
5. Lead laboratory team for all AABB, Ministry of Health, ISO and other audits where applicable
6. Work closely with Medical Directors and Clinical Pathologist for any laboratory-related issues that require medical oversight
7. Ensure lab proficiency testing and controls
8. Vendor/ supplier qualification and procurement of critical material and services
9. Monitor process deviations and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
10. Client interfacing for special cases, from time to time
11. Involve in laboratory related services development

Requirements:

1. Bachelor/Master (more preferable) in Biotechnology, Life Science or Biology
2. Laboratory management/ supervisory experience
3. Experience in processing umbilical cord blood will be advantageous
4. Relevant quality assurance (AABB, ISO) and regulatory compliance (Ministry of Health) experience
5. Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
6. Ability to lead and motivate lab staff
7. Ability to communicate effectively
8. Must be Hepatitis B immunized
