Introduction:

• You will lead a team of IT professionals, ensuring the effective design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
• The role involves strategic planning, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver high-quality IT solutions.
• As the Head of IT Engineering at an IT Solutions company, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the technical aspects of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement the IT engineering strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Identify emerging technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact on the organization's IT infrastructure and recommending appropriate actions.
• Collaborate with senior management to define and prioritize IT initiatives and investments.
• Ensure IT engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

2. Team Management and Development:

• Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and support professional development opportunities.
• Build a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Define and communicate clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations for team members.

3.IT Infrastructure and Systems Management:

• Implement best practices for IT operations, including monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and system performance optimization.
• Ensure IT infrastructure's availability, security, and scalabilityto meet business needs.
• Stay updated with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to IT infrastructure and systems.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud-based systems.

4. Application Development and Integration:

• Ensure the integration and interoperability of various systems and applications.
• Foster a culture of quality assurance and adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with software development teams to define and implement efficient and scalable software solutions.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

5.Project Management:

• Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead IT engineering projects from initiation to successful completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues and conflicts as they arise.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
• Proven 7 - 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within IT engineering, preferably in the IT solutions industry.
• Proven ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, cloud computing, and cybersecurity principles.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and software development methodologies.

Mandatory Skills:

Have Experience in the field

• Golang, Java, Python, JavaScript,
• Microservices and Scrum methodologies
• .NET or VB.NET
• API Gateway, Git repository, etc
• Cloud Native: AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, DigitalOcean
• RDBMS and No SQL (My SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis)

Hybrid or Remote working conditions. Jakarta metropolitan area will be prioritized.
