Job Description
Financial Controller/Bookkeeper (Remote)


We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller/Bookkeeper to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, developing financial strategies, and managing the financial books for the company.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a fast-growing company and work remotely. You should have a strong understanding of financial principles, be comfortable working with multiple departments and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities


  • Develop budgets and forecast future financial performance.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s financial books and records.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of financial systems.
  • Manage payroll and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Create and review financial reports for management and executive teams.
  • Work with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Stay up to date on relevant financial regulations and advise on changes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Analyze financial data and produce accurate financial reports.
  • Manage financial audits and provide support during tax preparation.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, procedures, and policies.
  • Analyze financial statements and reports to identify areas of improvement.


Requirements


  • Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Has own equipment(laptop/desktop that can run multiple accounting software, headset, camera)
  • Stable internet connection with a minimum of 20mbps.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian GST and BAS requirements
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting, and business processes.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, MS Excel, and other financial software.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial control, and financial management.
  • Able to work during Australian working hours.
