SPM Oil & Gas is seeking an experienced and results driven Manufacturing Plant Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, business partnering, controlling, reporting for business and local statutory requirements, and provide effective leadership to manage the finance team.

As The Finance Manager, You Will Manage

Financial Planning and Business Partnering:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
• Provide insights on the financial results of the business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to support decision-making and performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead and manage all aspects of financial analysis and planning for the Batam manufacturing facility, including the Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet statements for budget, forecasting and long-term planning.

Controlling And Reporting

• Provide commercial finance support to the Operations, Sales & Marketing teams.
• Conduct annual fixed asset count, cyclical stock counts and annual stock counts are conducted.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage financial reporting for local and US GAAP.
• Review and approve monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Monitor cost variances and analyses trends to identify areas for cost optimization.
• Perform monthly WIP inventory review in conjunction with operation.
• Provide support to share service functions for the team based in Singapore.
• Develop and maintain awareness of company contract management and accounting policies and procedures to ensure that cost management processes are robust.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and adherence to corporate accounting policies and procedures.
• Preparation of business cases for new projects including review of Capex investments and facilitate approval as per DOA.

Statutory Compliance

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage statutory audits and tax reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and taxation.

System And Internal Control Enhancement

• Lead internal control initiatives to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Work with IT and operations team to implement system upgrades and improvements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial system and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Establish and communicate internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley documentation requirements to all facility personnel and ensure high integrity financial reporting through maintaining a strong control environment.

Team Leadership

• Facilitate skill development and training to enhance the team's capabilities.
• Set clear performance goals and expectations for the team and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

The Successful Candidate Must Bring

• Experience in finance with inventory, product costing, financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Leadership skills to manage and develop a small team.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian’s statutory regulations and taxation.
• Excellent English and Bahasa communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Top Candidates Will Also Bring

• Prior experience in an Oil and Gas services or manufacturing business preferable.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. Chartered Accountant is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.

Shift: Regular

Work location: Jl.Bukit Girang TT II, Batu Ampar, Batam 29444

Occasional business travel will be required (10%).

Domestic relocation is available for this position.
