About The Export Sales Manager (Frozen Shrimp) Role

The Export Sales Manager (Frozen Shrimp) is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end export process, from building and maintaining overseas distributor networks to ensuring timely delivery of products and managing sales contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, agents, and buyers in target markets to ensure consistent sales and growth
• Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance analyses to senior management
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of international regulations, tariffs, and trade requirements to ensure compliance in all export activities
• Negotiate and finalise sales contracts, ensuring terms are favourable and align with company objectives
• Lead, train, and manage a team of sales and support staff to achieve individual and team performance goals
• Oversee the creation of accurate sales forecasts and demand projections to optimise inventory management and production planning
• Collaborate with buyers to identify and develop new product offerings based on market trends and customer preferences
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product and process improvements
• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment, coordinating with internal teams to meet customer delivery expectations
• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and achieve sales targets for frozen shrimp in the international export market

Key Requirements

• Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software

• Strong understanding of export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices
• Proven track record of building and nurturing a network of distributors, agents, and buyers in international markets
• Flexibility to travel internationally as needed
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, international trade, agriculture, etc.)
